Adirondack Younger Professionals internet hosting Winter Attire Drive this weekend

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – The non-profit, Adirondack Younger Professionals, is internet hosting a winter attire drive this weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, members will probably be accumulating new and lightly-worn winter garments within the U.S. Oval car parking zone from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m.

The non-profit is accepting all the pieces from kids’s coats, boots, hats, mittens, and ski pants.

Adirondack Younger Professionals teamed up with the Joint Council for Financial Alternative of Clinton and Franklin Counties to find out who’s in want of clothes this winter.

“Final yr, it was actually simply a mixture of any age. This yr, [the Joint Council for Economic Opportunity] requested us to focus just a little bit extra on the youngsters’s stuff so it’s good to have a partnership with JCEO to look to them to see what the necessity is locally and no matter demographic wants it,” stated Meghan Weeden of the Adirondack Younger Professionals group.

Organizers are asking that the donated gadgets be clear, absolutely practical and with out holes.
