Cox Cable Outage San Diego
They’ve sent out several different “techs,” with each finding something “wrong” that was done by the prior tech, yet no actual problems being resolved. I briefly relocated to MA before moving back to Portsmouth, RI, to another residence some ten weeks later in early August. Cable TV service since has been AWFUL. They’re clearly compressing video feed to save bandwidth.
The most recent outage reports and issues originated fromSan Diego, Chula Vista, El Cajon, Santee, La Mesa, Spring Valley, Imperial Beach, National City, Lemon Grove, Coronado and Bonita. Well, its Wednesday January 26th, and cox e-mail is out once again. Sorry, I’m not Cox tech support, and in no way affiliated with them. Our internet has been nothing but shit. We switched routers thinking our old router was the problem and it fixed everything but now 2 months later the same f%@king problems I was having before are back. I was promised a $100 Visa Gift Card when signing up for my “bundle” three months ago. Now I’m told that I’m not eligible for it because I was apparently LIED TO by the salesperson at that time!
First, let’s check if your service is being interrupted by a network outage—an outage that affects your area, not just your house. To check this status, log in to My Account or open the Cox app. @MRMARTINEZ702 Well still having internet issues. Called cox corporate office to get it resolved they are now sending another technician to come out. @WindTurbneCncr @CoxHelp Cox needs to provide a free month of service to those affected by more then a day of outage to make up for lost income.
And this isn’t the first time it has went out like that. It has before, but only for like 30 mins, or an hour here or there. And sometimes, it would freeze up ALTOGETHER. Try to call them and the line is so packed with people calling it, the busy signal is all ya get.
If they need money, they scam people. The WiFi routers they provide only encompasses one floor so when I do online school, I always get disconnected. Also, if you have more than 3 devices using the internet, everyone gets bad connection. There are so many other better internet providers than Cox.
Just waiting on ATT and Cox will be history. We as clents of COX Business are paying for the whole internet. But they think if you can bring up web pages you have the whole internet. So Cox, in response to that, we the customers GIVE YOU THE FINGER! Bottom line, Cox Communications has piss poor upper management!
Their customer service still consists of people who are only allowed to make scripted responses to your inquiries, but I believe they try harder to be available and satisfy their customers. Too bad they penalize you with much higher prices after two years . I would keep them as my provider, if it wasn’t for that.
While fiber internet is not offered as widely, it is the fastest of all the connections because data in fiber optic cables travels at the speed of light. Cox Customer Care, the company’s official service account on Twitter, has responded to hundreds of people who contacted it on the social media platform. Phoenix and surrounding areas have seen widespread outages, and the Pima County, Ariz. government’s official Twitter stated its phones were down.
It’s just a shame that it took so long for someone to actually go outside and check the wiring. Cox covers 1621 zips across the country. Below are the zips with the highest availability – if you live in one of the zips below, Cox is a great service option for your home. Cox covers 679 cities across the country.
They answer to no one, especially the customers whom they continue to escalate charges with. The local Cox office on Camino Capistrano in the 1970’s was a founding office for what is now Cox Communications and at that time, they invested heavily in our local systems. Apparently, they’re doing maintenance and my internet cut out a couple of times, during a work day when we’re still work from home because of coronoa. Calling tech support gives nothing but the same platitudes day after day. They say they are working on it, but no Cox service trucks are seen anywhere in the area.
They should be able to give you a credits for outage issues. Data caps are set around 1 Terabyte on most Cox plans. Since the average household only uses around 250 GB or so per month, this isn’t an issue for most customers.
