TRUCKEE, Calif. (KOLO) -The annual Truckee Group Christmas is approaching when meals, coats and toys are collected and given to the city’s most weak residents.

That features Truckee’s low earnings and homebound seniors, low wage-earning working households, these with hardships, the homeless and likewise teenage moms and their infants.

The non-profit group organizing TCC seeks town-wide involvement via mid-December.

“To me, what TCC does is all about this city taking good care of its personal and letting our most needy residents know that their fellow neighborhood members care about them,” mentioned Katie Shaffer, TCC board president.

Coat Drive:  Donate heat, clear, gently used winter coats or buy them new.
