Xcel Power is asking Minnesota regulators for permission to extend electrical energy charges by greater than 20% throughout the subsequent three years — a change that will finally add a mean of about $18.50 a month to electrical energy payments.

The utility firm submitted a 319-page utility to the Minnesota Public Utilities Fee (PUC) Monday, detailing its proposal. Within the submitting, which will be discovered right here, Xcel wrote the speed hikes “replicate the price of offering service to our clients, together with an applicable return on frequent fairness.”
